Chicago....Who runs it.....

Senators: Barack Obama & Dick Durbin
Representative: Jesse Jackson, Jr.
Illinois Governor: Rod Blogojevich (arrested)
Illinois House leader: &nbs p; Mike Madigan
Illinois Attorney General: Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike)
Chicago Mayor: Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley)

The leadership in Illinois? All Democrats.
Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago.
Body count in the last six months: 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago 221 killed in Iraq
State pension fund - $44 Billion in debt, worst in the country.
Cook County (Chicago) sales tax - 10.25% highest in country. (Look it up).
Chicago school system - rated one of the worst in the country.

Of course, they're all blaming each other. They can't blame Republicans because there aren't any.
This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. And he's going to '"fix" Washington politics for us?

An excerpt from a fantastic speech:

For over two decades, [McCain]’s subscribed to that old, discredited Republican philosophy – give more and more to those with the most and hope that prosperity trickles down to everyone else. In Washington, they call this the Ownership Society, but what it really means is – you’re on your own. Out of work? Tough luck. No health care? The market will fix it. Born into poverty? Pull yourself up by your own bootstraps – even if you don’t have boots. You’re on your own.

I have got no problem with being on my own. Everything I own I have earned and therefore I appericate. If everyone worked a little harder and stopped worryin about handouts and who is getting what, this country might be doing a little better. Americans stopped taking pride in their work and became lazy, instead of worrying about themselves they care more about the pecking order and worry more about doin less then the next guy. I am in no way rolling in the dough. I struggle with money and bills just as much as everyone in these hard times. Things will get much worst before they get better.

The point is why to criticize before the possiblity of any of the ideas of change and those policies are even implemented is fairly premature, he in not even in office yet! Directly pointing out accusations due to Chicago politics, has yet to really be substantial evidence just an incinuation. There is much to acknowlege to the Repulican failures specifically in Washington.

The man has little history in the senate and no experience. Republicans have done there share in fucking up the economy Yes. But everyone thinks this guy is here to save the day. I personally think he is going make things worse. Do I hope he proves me wrong? Yes, I hope he becomes the best president we every had and fixes everything. Its not a matter of democrat and republican anymore. Its a matter of Shit is starting to hit the Fan and WE need to fix it. The dollar is losing its value and unemployment is growing at an alarming rate. Time start creating jobs and sparking spending. Time to create government jobs, like fixing bridges. Not handing out money in ubsurd amounts and getting more in National Debt.
